I have 4 Border Collies and 2 conures, who stay with their grandma when I'm away pet sitting and her 4 other Border collies and 1 conure.
They love spending time with their grandparents and chilling out, its like the 7 dwarfs but there's 8 of them.
My 4 are, smiley Jess, cheeky Charlie, tiny Tilly, and mischievous Echo and the conures names are Angel, but don't let the name fool you, she is only an angel for me, and Storm our latest rescue, who needs a lot of tlc.
my mums 4 are greedy Holly, stubborn Sky, goby Poppy, and naughty Barney (our rescue) and her conure is the handsome Mickey, and we are looking for a pretty Minnie to pair him up with.

over the years I've had pets ranging from hamsters, to degus, to rabbits, dogs, and a range of birds.
I never say no to looking after pets unless I'm booked, or my t&c's aren't followed. I do fall in love with every animal I meet and love getting to know their characters and personalities, their little quirks, but most of all I love the nervous and reactive pets, I love seeing their trust in me grow, and how they relax around me. How birds start to talk or make a noise when I come over, how reptiles take food from me instead of me placing it somewhere for them, how cats and dogs will cuddle up to me or how hamsters and rats and mice come to have a sniff.
ABOUT ME
Hi I'm Gemma, I'm 28 and a huge animal lover. I have been running my business since April 2018. before this I completed my animal management courses at Bishop Burton Collage.
I have been working with animals since I was 15. I have experience with animals through the places I have worked, collage and my own pets and I continue to learn where ever I can. I do a 1st aid course regularly, and work closely with dog trainers. I use to compete in Flyball, and I breed Border Collies. I also volunteer for lost and found animals, so its safe to say my life evolves around animals.
I started my business doing dog walking and pet sitting in my local area Scarborough but in Jan 2023, I decided to stop dog walking and branch out further afield in pet sitting, and now I cover the UK.
I have always helped people with nail clipping and over the years learned how to trim animals beaks. My passion for pets has always been there since I was a little girl, but my passion for dogs came when we took on our late rescue boy Jack. seeing the state we got him in made me pursue my career wanting to work with animals. I originally wanted to be a dog trainer, but found a new passion when I started dog walking and pet sitting.
I was quickly known for taking on reactive and nervous dogs, and I love how they get to know me and trust me, and that owners can go away knowing their pets are happy and stress free while they are away
